Wanted: Summer of Code [2.auckland]
I really (really) want to participate in the Wellington “Summer of Code 2.0” (blog), but it is Wellington-only… and I doubt any of the companies involved want to take on an unproven second-year student to work remotely on their software. Argh!
“About me” says you are based in Wellington, and you did apply for SoC 2.0, but did not continue through the process (upload CV etc) to be able to sit the test. Why is that?
I’m only in Wellington for the Uni semesters, the rest of my time is spent in Auckland. I was thinking about staying in Wellington over the summer holidays in order to continue with SoC, but I pulled out once I found I had important reasons to be in Auckland this summer.
